Project Aim:

The aim of this project is to reduce loneliness in adults 50+ especially those who were required to completely isolate and not go out because of their greater vulnerability to contracting Covid-19.

​We are bringing people to our lovely Victorian lodge and secluded medicinal garden where there is a museum of items from old chemist shops. Due to COVID we are doing this online via Zoom sessions.
We are running sessions a few times a month.  These sessions bring people together to participate in activities that break down barriers, build confidence and allow people to have fun. 

Who can benefit:

The project is aimed at 50+, but anyone in Plymouth can benefit from this project.​

We are inviting you to explore our collection of items that used to be sold in Mr Park’s chemist shop on Mutley Plain, now housed at Thorn Park Lodge. 
Meet people and share your memories of our collection and feel the past come flooding back.  A great opportunity to socialise online with likeminded people.
