Oct 2020: Freelance Job Role opportunity

​We are looking for someone who has a passion for history and interest in  everyday items that were sold in old fashioned chemist shops.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, especially the older generation who have been struggling with isolation since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic .

Duration:
The project must be completed by the middle of March 2021 which could mean sometimes running sessions at weekends in order to reach as many people as possible. 

Budget:
The post, which could be a job share, is free lance with payment per hour for agreed number of hours. Payment will include contact time with participants and preparation of workshop equipment, recording results and looking after volunteers who will support the leader in running these c. 

Future plans:
This is a pilot project and the aim is to build on this project and develop the learning resources so that we can support more people.  We would also like to use our collections to reach people of all ages and backgrounds.  We would like to work with the successful applicant beyond this initial project
